Roosevelt Campobello International Bridge
The approach to Campobello

Memorial Bridge.
Built in 1962, it spans an
area of water called the
Narrows, through which
flow swift tidal currents.
The International Bridge
linking the Island with
Lubec, Maine was opened
in 1962. Prior to that people
had travelled by boat and
a small car ferry to the
